Question About Canon Scanner DR-2580C
Blank left margin...

EVerytime I scan something, it comes out with about a 1 inch blank or almost blank strip. I have tried cleaning everything and looked for staples or damage from staples. What should I do?

0 Hi Anna, I have the same problem and I have not been able to make it stop by cleaning either. I used 91% Isopropyl Alcohol with a cotton cloth to clean the small glass strips but to no avail. It continues to have the same problem. I have also been very careful to clean it out with dust remover cans of compressed air after uses. I am assuming this is an internal problem. I now have to use my flat bed scanner for anything 8 1/2 X 11 inches. It really sucks. Have you come up with a solution?
