5 On the ML-81, flip the switch to "set" first. Then push the "AC" button to clear screen. FOR DATE (my calculator displays the date as year-month-day): For June 22, 2009 enter date as, 09 press date button, 06 press date button, 22, press date button, then set button. The display will look like this 09-06-22. I haven't figured out how to make it look like mm-dd-yy.

5 On the ML-81, flip switch to "set". Push "AC" button to clear screen. DATE [ML-81 displays date as year-month-day]: For Janaury 15, 2010, enter date as, 2010 press date button, 01 press date, 15 press date, then "set" button. Display will look like 10-01-15. To get cursor to display correct day, in this case, Friday, you must enter year as a 4-digit [2010 in this case].

3 Unfortunately you are unable to change the cursor because Casio did not program the year 2000+ into its clock feature. Sorry.

0 Unfortunately Casio did not program the date sequence past the year 2000 plus. Guess they didn't think that the calculator would still be used into the next millenium.
