when i key in 600 + 10 %, it equals 667, instead o...

when i key in 600 + 10 %, it equals 667, instead of 660 ?? when i key in 600 x 10% +, it equals 660. Is there a correct and incorrect way to add percentages to a number, or is there something wrong with my calculator?
