Question About Compaq Computer Monitor 7550
compaq 7550 color monitor...

Hi, my monitor is now 9 years old and quite suddenly a black line (approx' 1/2" )has appeared on the left side of the screen, and a line (approx' 1/2" ) on the top of the screen. Can this be fixed, or, am I looking at buying a new monitor? Thanks in advance. Dave....
