Question About Compaq Laptop Presario V5120
Keyboard removal...

need to replace the keyboard and am having trouble getting the switch cover off (I'm assuming that's the first step)

0 To remove the keyboard: take out the battery, undo the two mid compartment screws, then open the computer, pry the cover off, take three screws off the keyboard, lift out and pull ribbon. There you go two minutes tops.
