My monitor screen is dark and my computer is on an...

My monitor screen is dark and my computer is on and I can not turn the monitor to the right setting to receive it. The green light is on in the lower right corner. (duane2839@me.com)

0 I did not get an answer to my question. how do I turn on the monitor when hooked up to my computer and the power light is on? I have been using it with no problems.
