Question About Dell Laptop 1501
How to open keyboard...

I bought laptop Inspiron 1501 in FEB 2007, after 18 month my keyboard having probem. Where keypad A,S,D,F,J,K,L not function well after press. I believe there is some contact/connection problem to the keyboard connector. How come the DELL product quality can guaranted to 2 years only...Why not old live or 5 years. PLS GUIDE ME HOW TO OPEN THE KEYBOARD.

0 Check the Service manual. I've taken apart a ton of these, but Dell will provide you with the necessary instructions to dismantle them. Have fun, and remember, ESD is the enemy.
