969 printer won't print red even with new color ca...

969 printer won't print red even with new color cartridge installed. The red color comes out as a maroon color. Prior to installing the new color cartridge it printed out green instead of red although the cartridge display symbol still showed half a color cartridge left.and did say it needed a new cartridge. This did not happen in the past.
