DELL 948 Printer not feeding paper through...

I have an issue with my Dell 948 all-in-one printer. When i try to print a doc, its starts to feed and feeds about an inch into the printer and stops. At this point i can hear the printer printing, but the paper does not feed through the printer, so it never prints on the paper. When is scan or copy it feeds fine?
