Question About Dell Projector 1100MP
projector will not connect to computer...

When I first connect the projector my Dell 1100MP projector to the my Dell computer (Inspiron 1520), it takes over 30 minutes to search for the S video cable before it will connect to the machine. I tried pushing the F8 button, but this doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions??
