Question About D-Link Network Router WBR-1310
1310 Router doesn't connect to laptop...

When I try to connect my 1310 to my modem I lose the internet on my desktop and my laptop says it can not display the internet explorer . When I go back to my old set up ( ethernet cable connected to my modem (desktop) then everything on the desktop is fine but the laptop won't get the internet since the router is not connected
