Question About Fujitsu Scanner fi6770A
How to release scanner mechanism...

I can't get the scanner mechanism, that is mounted on top of the flatbed cover to release and move from its factory default location. I've removed the two shipping screws from the bottom of the bed cover, but the scanner mechanism won't move and I'm not inclined to force it. Is there a release mechanism somewhere? Thanks
