Question About Gateway Computer Monitor FPD1975W

the main menu of product tour keeps flashing on my monitor screen and the menu off button on side on monitor does not turn menu off--none of the buttons on the side of monitor operate as they should--a recent problem on about a year, now--used to be infrequent ..now a constant nuisance!

0 I got the manual...I checked the menu of contents and clicked on a few topics..but haven't found a resolution to this problem of constant flashing of product tour menu on L bottom of monitor screen

0 I had this problem with my FPD1975W. The wiring harness for the switch bank on the side had a loose connection where it attached to the logic board. I guess the absence of a return voltage from the menu switch activated the tour feature. plugging in the harness correctly fixed it. HHT.
