I just purchased a gateway laptop. i purchased it through an add in the paper. the previous owner showed me the receipt of the laptop to prove ownership. however, i cannot find the actual model name of the laptop, the sticker where the s/n should be has been removed and i cannot get in touch with the previous owner. i would just like to know how i can find the model name and serial number for my new computer. it is an '05 laptop.
