The computer crashed and I cannot get it to restore and now it seems that I've not only lost the backups but the systems drives. It's like the d:backupdrive is now the c: drive and the c: drive doesn't exist. I can get to a factory copy but I am unable to install or run the install program. The main problem is my lack of knowledge although I have been unable to find the instructions but not because of my lack of trying.
