My sound does not work every time I boot my laptop up. The way I get it to work is to download the audio driver once again (which I get from the Gateway website) and then it works for the duration of that particular boot. Once I shut down my laptop and boot the next time, the sound no longer works. I want to know if this is a sound card issue or a software issue. It seems to be an issue with the software since the sound card can work once programmed to do so. please help for this is very frustrating.
