overheating...

what is causing my pc to over heat. the battery cord gets so hot you can hardly touch the end that plugs into the pc.

0 well i found out why it is overheating. the fan quit working and i have to send the computer to temple texas to get it fixed. gateway does not have a service center locally. this is the second time i have had ro send this thing to texas. dont buy a gateway. i am so disappointed with it.
