5 I couldn't find my manual, but I did find a link to where you can download the user guide, It is as follows: http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/310_Series/2900379/2900379ul.shtml I hope this helps. I am working on my sons computer as well but it isn't the harddrive, it is the CPU Fan/chip( won't stay on). Good luck.
