error code...

"Scanner error 6 Turn off then on" I have turned off then on and it still won't clear. I can't do anything else on the printer

1 Had scanner error 5. Turn off and on worked for a while. Replaced scanner assembly, now get scanner error 2. First time turned on after replacing scanner assembly "Scan Bulb warming up", but eventually scanner error 2. Turn off and on does not work. Help!!
