I just purchsed this multifunctional printer. I'm having a problem with scanning a picture from a book. Since the cover of the scanner does not close when I place the book on the window, it doesn't seem to work. The scanner works when the cover is closed. Is this actually the case where you can't scan anything unless the top cover is closed? Any help appreciated.
