Question About HP (Hewlett-Packard) Printer 4650dn
Service Error 49, 4401...

I just got a used 4650 printer from abroad. As soon as I plugged it, it performed the starting up sequence after which it showed 49,4401 service error. Incidentally, I am an Electronic/computer engineer; if I get a good help I may be able to fix it. If you can help, pls assist. Thanks Adebola Abioye {Nigeria}

0 We had the same problem after a power outage. Some research has suggested that the Formatter board is faulty. We changed the ram and pulled the network card from the formatter as instructed in a troubleshooting sheet. This did not fix our problem. We don't have a solution but I thought this information may help somewhat. Steve
