5 Make sure your scanner is installed to your computer. You should find an icon with scanners name: HP deskjet 2514 or similiar. Click on this and place your documents in the scanner and scan. You can view document on computer screen, edit, and save as pdf file. Now open your email and click on attach. You want to choose the documents you scanned and saved from before (whatever name you chose) you will find from scanners icon and attach document to email. hope this helps happy scanning
