Question About Kodak Printer 5300
5300 printer...

I have a new kodak 5300 printer it says the printhead is missing or is in wrong. I should remove the ink and the printhead but I can't get the printhead out and am afarid I'll break it. Could the ink be bad and maybe thats why it won't print the calibra sheet. Will this printer work with a Dell.
