0 I have the same problem. Anyone try disassembling the unit? I've found a lot of white grease in mine, evidence of a past repair job. I assume the clutch is a little sticky and does not engage all the way. I will be opening up and repairing this unit so i'll keep everyone posted.

0 Still looking for help with this problem. Anybody know where this projector could be repaired? Anywhere in Honolulu?

0 Gear at the end of the driveshaft, that connects to the motor via belt is worn out. Part not available. Tried small adjustment screw in bulb injector area to adjust free play out of gear, but at my required adjustment it added too much tension to operate reels. Whole thing is junk now.

0 So basically buy an entirely new unit from eBay for about $100 if yours exhibits this problem and the adjustment screw doesn't fix it. Otherwise you or a tech will waste about 3+ hours of disassembly.
