Question About LG Electronics Computer Monitor None
Monitor flashes Windows Welcome Briefly then goes black...

The monitor light is green, but when the computer is turned on, monitor flashes the welcome screen just long enough to see it and then the screen fades to black. Any ideas?

0 When screen goes black, if LED goes from green to amber the monitor is not getting an input signal. Check your video cable, try an alternate. Does your system have multiple vid outputs, if so make sure your are on the active output, try moving cable to alternate outputs. Monitor has an auto input detect/select function, if it's not active try cycling through inputs.

0 Try using alternate vid input on monitor (DVI vs. VGA). You will need and adapter or spare cable. Try spare monitor on your system to confirm output and cable. Try your monitor on a spare system to confirm problem is with monitor.
