Probable cause: Nvidia direct access feature. Monitor displaying very low contrast, dark and dull colors. OSD contrast button is at setting "100", however it is not functioning to correct contrast value.

0 I've solved the problem by entering monitors "service menu". To enter service menu: - press + buttons at the same time, screent will go blank and then will come back - open - bottom menu icon should display instead of normal - enter new menu, then - goto - press (incresase contrast button) - right bottom side of screen should display service menu - use arrow keys to adjust - contrast and brightness adjustments are and - adjust to proper values after doing adjustments, you may remove Nvidia's direct access functions. Follow these steps: - in windows explorer goto Windows\System32 - delete or rename following files nvmccs.dll nvmccsrs.dll and, have a nice day.

0 I noticed "" signs are not working in comments. Here is a proper comment. I've solved the problem by entering monitors "service menu". To enter service menu, follow these steps: - press (SELECT/INPUT)+(POWER) buttons at the same time, screent will go blank and then will come back - open (MENU) - bottom menu icon should display (12) instead of normal (*) - enter new (12) menu, then (SELECT) - goto (DEGAUSS) - press (right arrow) (the button that incresases contrast) - right bottom side of screen should display service menu - use arrow keys to adjust - contrast and brightness adjustments are (SCON) and (SBRT) - adjust to proper values After doing adjustments, you may remove Nvidia's direct access feature. Follow these steps: - in windows explorer goto Windows\System32 - delete or rename following files nvmccs.dll nvmccsrs.dll and, have a nice day.
