no internet access after storm

for Motorola Modem Mstatea

we had a storm last night, now everything lights up on the modem except the ethernet light and internet. Ive reset the modem but yet still cant get access . ive got the modem directly connected to the computer, cant access the modems web site through the browser or anything, ive unplugged it , reset it and everything. any help would be appreciated.

    turns out the router got fried , and now i have no ethernet on that pc. the ethernet adapter cant be found in device manager, but the light on back of computer is on not sure what to do about that ......... but thanx
