I replaced the lamp and afterward unit starting making a clicking noise and would not try to fire the lamp. I removed the lamp and the noise was still there. The unit is ~8 years old and gets a lot of use in a SmartBoard. Is it likely that the fan just needs to be replaced and the sound is the bearings preventing the fan from achieving the proper speed? It will error if the fan is not operating properly.
