want to use for networking 4 computors, 2 x-box live and nintendo wii. have a 4 port router and a 4 port switch handling it now but gets seriously bogged down. using sympatico high speed dsl modem. can i plug the modem into port 1 (link port) and everything else into the remaining ports or do i still need the router? have no softtware, instructions or manual. any help would be greatly appreciated. MY KIDS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY
