How do I get outside temperature to display on my ...

How do I get outside temperature to display on my IWA 80055?? Lost it a year ago and no one at dealer or other owners know how to restart it?? Changed batteries 3X, reset both transmitter and thermo clock several times each. All i have is " _ _ _" email: jawalker3@live.com or (360) 437-5051
