Question About Casio Cash Register casio pcr272
my casio PCR272 register won't open. It's not lock...

my casio PCR272 register won't open. It's not locked and the only way I can get it to pop open is the tab on the underneath side. Is there something broke? I did find a piece when I pulled the drawer out that looks like a tiny sphere shape. where does it go?
