I'm not sure about setting rings. I just got a new phone carrier and they do not have distinctive ring and my fax was set for that. Now I do not know how to set the rings. I had to take the telephone cord off my fax because when my phone rang if I did not get it the first time the fax would come on and when I'm not home no one can get my greeting on my phone because the fax comes on to quick. I do think if I can figure it out I need to add to my message that if they want to leave a fax they need to hit *9. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you......Linda
