Question About Panasonic Printer KX-P3124
Part that came off...

I have a gold looking plate that goes somewhere around the front of printer ribbon, but can't get it to fit anywhere, printing is awful and I think it has to do with this part?

0 I have a Panasonic KX-P3124 printer that was working fine on a windows 2000 manchine but it crashed. I got a windows XP machine and hooked the printer up and the printer did not auto install and when i go to install the printer manually it installs but will not print any ideas? Also the printer is hooked up on a parallel cable.
