Philips 585 microcassette recorder. I cn't work out how to access the battery to change it. I have slid the bottom part of the top cover downwards towards me to expose the place to put the microcassette in, but it doesn't seem to want to go further to expose the battery compartment and I don't want to force it in case I break anything. Does anyone know how to get to the battery compartment? also a manual would be useful! many thanks all.

0 Once you open the door (you are able to pick up the microcassette), you have to put your thumb on the "glass" of the "door" and slide it down all the way and you hence can reach the battery and replace it.
