How do I fix the launcher bon my proscan PLT9602G....

How do I fix the launcher bon my proscan PLT9602G.my tablet is very slow and I keep getting a pop up notice that says Luncher has stopped. Do want to close or exit. Then screen goes black & I have to wait to useb again. Or it shuts down. I have no picture' can give an if need
