My son has a proscan tablet PLT7100G and he can't ...

My son has a proscan tablet PLT7100G and he can't get to the screen to put in his password because a message stating unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped. You can see the key pad for him to enter his password behind the message but when you press OK the message just keeps popping up.
