dark screen...

Screen is bright and clear for about 30 seconds upon turining on the computer, then becomes very dark with faint desktop image in the background. Same occurrence each time computer is restarted. Brightness is turned up all the way.

0 It was apparently due to inadequate power source. I purchased a new adapter and it works fine now, except for NO sound.
