Monitor will not stay on, for more than a second or two. I have two of these monitors both about 2 years old - the other is OK.

0 Turn on the monitor. After it shuts down, by itself, shine a flashlight on the screen. If you see the images that are susposed to be there, it is a back-light issue and the monitor is junk. Cost to fix is about 90% of the replacement cost. If you do not see anything, then it is most likely the power board. That is the board that the ac plug goes directly into. This will cost you about $25.00 plus shipping. Just Google the Board Model No. and shop. Let me know how it works out. designworksoutsourcing@hotmail.com
