Question About PSC Scanner PT2000
battery replacement...

The scanner has a rechargeable battery pack. THe only number on the back is 00-862-00. Can I use just any 3-pack rechargeable AA replacement or do I need a specific replacement? I really just need a backup although I had heard that rechargeable batteries do have a 'life'.
