Have a pro-95 purchased new nicad batteries and asked for a mobile charger and was given a 9.1v. 1000milamp chg. later reading on back of scanner it calls for a 300 milamp chg. could this have caused the battery to short out prematurely? Is there a reg. circuit in scanner to prevent overchg. unit? Radio Shack doesn't think that the fact that the chg sold was a 1000milamp instead of 300milamp should make any difference. Do you agree?
