I was just given this TV without a remote or manual. I purchased an RCA universal remote. The remote does work, but every time I turn it on it goes to the Guide+ menu. Sometimes I can get out of it by hitting the menu button, but other times it stays in the Guide+. Also, the picture has a couple spots that are discolored. Anything I can do about that? Do I need I have cable, but this TV does not show the digital channels. Does it require a seperate digital or HD receiver/tuner?
