Goodday :-) my brand new Ricoh got stuck on an err...

Goodday :-) my brand new Ricoh got stuck on an error message: "Paperjam in scanner". There is no paper at all safe in it's cassette. Is there any way to 'restart' the system to fix this bug? Thank you v.m.
