We keep getting a "Load Paper" error message when sending print jobs to printer. Paper is loaded. We change the amt. of paper, power off/power on, reset the copy job, nothing works. Not under warranty. Please advise. Get a new printer?

5 A client of mine has the same "Load Paper" problem plus the Error Indicator light is on all the time. His CL3000 will print if, on the Control Panel the Form Feed button is pushed, then the #Enter (again on the Control Panel) is pushed. He has to do this for every print job, but not every page. The Ricoh Maintenance Guide says "Form Feed Key: You can use this to force the printer to print the data received in the online status when the paper size or type does not match with the actual set size or type." This makes me think that the paper tray is not setup properly for paper size or type. Or a sensor around the tray is some how blocked or broken. Please post if you have any luck fixing this problem, I will do the same.

4 I solved my clients CL3000 problem. First the Error Indicator light on all the time was caused by a toner cartridge being almost empty. Now as far as the Load Paper Error was caused by the "Tray Locking" setting in the printer that was set as ON. I set it to OFF. This may help with your CL3000 issue. If not try checking your tray settings under the paper, in the tray itself. Also check that the sensor inside the tray drawer move freely and are not binding somehow. All the CL3000 manuals can be down loaded from Ricoh at: http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/manuals/printers/cl3000/ Most likely, I will not come back to this page, so I hope this info is helpful to you.
