I have a Samsung ml-1885 which has started to misb...

I have a Samsung ml-1885 which has started to misbehave. I get a vertical white line about 5cm from the left margin. This could be that the LSU needs cleaning but the printer itself isn't flaggin up any error signs. Any suggestions
