I bought this printer in January 2008. I started using it in February as I am a tax preparer. The printer has many paper jams, smudges toner randomly on the page and smudges where it grabs the page (top center). The toner cartridge that came with the printer was empty within a month (I had not even printed 500 pages yet) and I bought a new one. The new one is going already and it prints faintly. This cartridge was supposed to print 3000 pages. I had 3 reams of paper, (500 pages each). The 3rd one has just been opened. So I've printed just over 1000 pages with two toner cartridges which should have printed 4000 pages together. Can you please help me with this printer?
