i have my speakers connected and i hear soundbut w...

i have my speakers connected and i hear soundbut when i disconnnect my speakers the laptops speakers have no sound now? the comp is 3 months old? help? i tried unistalling and reinstalling the sound devices, reboot and little things like that but no luck.
