The TP-Link Router keeps informing me that the Modem is detected as 'static', whereas I believe it should be DHCP. Unable to set up the router because of this. At the same time to Modem stops operating and the phone line and Internet are rendered useless. It is then necessary to remove the power to the modem so that it will find both phone line and Internet to resume working. Is this modem 'Static' or DHCP? If it is DHCP why does it not recognise this with the Router?
