I have a Sharp SPC500A alarm clock .The alarm beep...

I have a Sharp SPC500A alarm clock .The alarm beep in the middle of the night for no reason. I have made sure the alarm is off. How do I stop this,or could it be warning me of a low battery,but it seems to happen only at night.
