Hi i have a problem with my router. My internet connection won't work for my computer upstairs. All the cords are plugged in correctly and i have double and triple checked them. When i go into my SMC logon info like 192.168... it shows under the status tab that i'm not connected. I've tried pressing the connect button for a long time and didn't seem to get any conection. I've also tried unplugging the power cord to my router and holding the reset button for 30-45 seconds. After that I've tried to go to the command prompt and type in "ipconfig" and it showed that everything was fine and all connections were made. When i went back into my rounter options under 192.168.... and tried to press the connect button under the status tab again nothing seemed to change and it stayed saying disconected. I've tried this method multiple times and has worked for me in the past. Can someone please help me ASAP!
