Question About Sony Laptop PCG-381M
how to partition and format...

The laptop came with Win. Vista installed. without any software. I want to install XP instead.

0 I posted my question after I tried the usual procedure. booted from an XP disk, but just after the XP was ready to start installing it notified that there's no hard disk!, although the BIOS recognized it.. I never liked working with vista for reasons which many others know. also I don't find it wise to work with non partitioned HD. Can anybody help? thanx in advance
